God-fearing Madhur has a tryst with almighty

After the success of Fashion, the film-maker visits Vaishno Devi to offer his prayers at the Mata Ka Darbar

Madhur Bhandarkar is the entrant in the list of superstitious and god-fearing people. The film-maker travelled all the way to Vaishno Devi on Sunday to offer his prayers at the Mata Ka Darbar and thank the almighty for the success of his latest film Fashion. He was accompanied by his wife.

Madhur told After Hrs after visiting the shrine. “It has been four years that I have come here. I really got the bulawa and decided to visit Vaishno Devi and thank her for all that she has given to me. It has been a remarkable journey for me. When I started making films, I did not think I will get so much of success. I had confidence on my abilities for sure, but without the blessing of god you can’t go anywhere.”

He added: “I have come here with my wife. I’m celebrating the success of Fashion. It has been well-received by one and all and I thanked god for that too. It was a very important film for me and also the whole team. We are very happy that the film is a super-hit. We thank audiences for accepting the film so well.”
