Dikshit has no time for 'Fashion'

NEW DELHI: It was to be an exclusive screening for Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, who is a known film buff. But, she had no time for Madhur Bhandarkar's much talked about "Fashion".

A special show of the film, which is creating waves for its comment on the fashion world, was organised last week by the film's publicists at the Film Division Auditorium.

Dikshit was expected there though no other Congress leader was invited. Quipped a Delhi government official: "The show must have been planned to provide some relief to the chief minister who has no time left for herself with aspiring candidates thronging her residence and office for the last few days."

But the film was eventually screened in Dikshit's absence as she sent the message that she won't be able to come due to her hectic schedule.
