Classmates burn schoolgirl to death

VIDISHA (MP): A seventh standard schoolgirl was charred to death after her classmates and a senior student allegedly set her on fire following an argument, police on Thursday said.
 
Nidhi, a student at the government school in Satvadia Sarai village, was followed home on Wednesday by three girls with whom she had had an argument over a trivial matter.
 
They set her afire after pouring kerosene on her, Vidisha Superintendent of Police R L Prajapati said.
 
Nidhi's father rushed her to the district hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday night, he said.
 
The matter is under investigation, Prajapati said.
