LONDON: Peter Phillips, the British Queen's eldest grandson, will soon get married to his Canadian girlfriend Autumn Kelly at a village church near the Royal Family's Balmoral Estate in Scotland.

Quoting unnamed sources, the 'Daily Mail' said that Phillips has decided to wed Kelly at Crathie Kirk -- the church "where his mother Princess Anne married for the second time 16 years ago after her divorce from his father, Mark".

However, Phillips may have to give up his place in the line of succession as his to-be wife is a Roman Catholic. The 1701 Act of Settlement bars British monarchs and their heirs from becoming or marrying Catholics.

The 30-year-old son of the Princess Royal and Kelly got engaged last year.

Phillips, who does not hold any Royal title or style and currently tenth in line to the British throne, works for the Royal Bank of Scotland while his sweetheart Kelly is a management consultant.

The palace is yet to officially confirm their wedding dates and it has so far refused to comment on the matter.

"Peter Phillips is a private individual and it is not something we wish to comment on," an unnamed spokesman was quoted by the British newspaper as saying.
