Prince William is now planning to whisk off his girlfriend to the Indian Ocean island of Rodrigues for a Christmas break.
LONDON: After a make-or-break holiday with Kate Middleton in the Seychelles this summer, Prince William is now planning to whisk off his girlfriend to the Indian Ocean island of Rodrigues for a Christmas break.
The lovebirds had visited the island when they got together for the first time and William loved it so much that he even wrote his university dissertation about the coral reefs there.
"It's the top of William's wish list and he is trying to pin down dates now. He has said he is desperate to take Kate back. Rodrigues is one of William's favourite places on Earth. One of their best memories is when they first visited.
"They spent the days snorkelling in the turquoise waters and drinking cocktails on the beach. William first went there seven years ago during his gap year and has loved it ever since.
"He really wants to spoil Kate and it's going to be his Christmas present to her," leading British newspaper 'Daily Mail' reported here on Sunday, quoting a source as saying, without revealing his name.
According to the unnamed source, the couple are likely to jet off after Christmas, which Prince William will spend at Sandringham with the Royal Family while his girlfriend will be with the Middleton family at their Berkshire home.
The holiday is likely to fuel rumours that the Prince may propose to Kate. But one of his friends said, "It is very unlikely that William will pop the question. He first wants to complete his Army career before he even thinks about getting married to her."
It may be mentioned that the couple had split in April after Middleton told William she was fed up with him falling out of nightclubs and fooling around with other girls. But, they were secretly dating again by July.
