Engineering firm Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) today said it has bagged a Rs 77 crore order for construction related works at the 'Trombay Methanol Revamp Project' for Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd (RCF).

MUMBAI: Engineering firm Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) today said it has bagged a Rs 77 crore order for construction related works at the 'Trombay Methanol Revamp Project' for Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd (RCF).
The project would help enhance the overall energy efficiency, reliability and life of the methanol plant along with augmentation of capacity to 220 TPD from present 180 TPD, L&T said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Denmark-based Haldor Topsoe A/S has been retained as the process licensor while Projects and Development India (PDIL) is the project consultant, it added.
The order comprises detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and performance guarantee test runs for the said project.
