    BANGALORE: Hewlett-Packard India on Wednesday launched a 20-inch-screen entertainment notebook and a voice messenger phone in the local market as it sought to strengthen its position in the lifestyle computing business.

    Under the "OOMPH" product range, it also launched a HP TouchSmart, which has 19" BrightView touch screen, applications such as HP SmartCalendar & the HP Photosmart, and a storage space of 320 GB.

    At a press conference here, HP India officials said the 'Dragon' HP Pavilion HDX 2000 Entertainment Series Notebook PC offers multimedia performance with a full-size 20.1-inch diagonal display, among others.

    "The introduction of the new range further strengthens our wide-ranging lifestyle portfolio, and will help us grow the lifestyle computing market by around 50 per cent this fiscal," said Ravi Swaminathan, President-Personal Systems Group, HP India.

    The company said it plans to expand its retail footprint across 500 cities and expand retail partner network to over 2000 by the end of the current financial year.
