Vh1 brings out Live Earth-a 24 hour concert!

All music lovers head home! If the rains are killing all your plans of going gigging, here’s a better option. Vh1 presents Live Earth, a concert with performances by over 100 artistes that will begin at 2.30 p.m. on July 7 and will go on for 24 hours.

Some of the biggest acts playing here are Madonna, Sir Elton John, Roger Waters, The Police, Black Eyed Peas, Duran Duran, James Blunt, Snoop Dogg, Linkin Park, Rihanna, Wolfmother, Genesis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Smashin Pumpkins, Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys, Sheryl Crow, Akon and Ludacris amongst many others who will set the stage on fire and reach out to over two billion people across the world.

These concerts will be held in New York, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, London, Tokyo, Shanghai and Hamburg. Live Earth is a 24-hour, 7-continent concert series taking place on 7/7/07 that will bring together musicians to trigger a global movement to solve the climate crisis.
