"Women feel so comfortable in front of the camera that they want to take off their clothes after a point"... That’s what photographer Vikram Bawa claimed in a recent interview. Here’s what three models had to say in response.

“The statement is ridiculous. It’s so not true. In fact it’s making my blood boil. If he is talking about Indian models, then I strongly oppose it. I will never do anything of that sort and nor do I know of anybody who does that.” —Vidisha Pavate, model

“It’s a frame of mind. It probably does happen, if the photography is creative or contemporary. Also, the comfort level with the photographer is very important. When you know that the photographer does not want you to shed clothes for any other reasons except for work, it happens.” —Neha Kapur, model

“I wouldn’t agree with the statement. I would never get that comfortable that I shall start stripping off my clothes. In fact during the normal shoots, models are well covered to make them feel comfortable. We call this cheating. I disapprove of his claims.” —Candice Pinto, model
