KOLKATA: Dashing middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh, recuperating from a knee injury, has exuded confidence of a quick comeback to top level cricket, saying he felt good while playing a Twenty20 match here.

"This is my second game after I returned to the 22 yards following the injury. Today, I pushed myself on the field ... felt very good... things looking good for me," Yuvraj told newspersons after turning out for his employers Indian Airlines in a tournament organised by the Calcutta Cricket and Football Club.

The left-hander said he was not in a hurry to return to the Indian team, but would give a report on his fitness to the physio after Sunday's final of the tournament.

"I can't give a date when I will be back. While playing the match tomorrow, I will push myself harder and see how I feel," the handsome left-hander said.

"If I feel 100 per cent fit, I will give a report. If I feel that I am not 100 per cent fit, then also I will give a report. And I will speak to John Gloster," he said.

Yuvraj said he was not at all worried about his batting, and was instead concentrating on aspects like running between the wickets and fielding.

"If I am hundred per cent fit mentally and physically, then batting will come automatically," he said.

Yuvraj said he had earlier played Twenty20 cricket in 2003 during his stint in the English County. "It's a good format. It brings in the crowd. It is very entertaining".

Yuvraj, who missed the trip to South Africa due to the injury, has been under the treatment of Indian cricket board's medical consultant Dr Anant Joshi.

Yuvraj sustained the injury on the eve of India's crucial Champions Trophy Group A league match against Australia at Mohali late October when the team was playing kho-kho as a warm-up exercise prior to the net session.
