2 Indian students die in Dubai car crash

DUBAI: Two Indian students died and another was injured in a car crash here, police said.

Nigin Surendran died on the spot on Friday while Deepak Devadas succumbed after he was shifted to a local hosptal.

Another student Lijun, who was at the wheels, was admitted with minor injuries.

The trio, all students of commerce at the local Mahatma Gandhi University, were driving through Al-Ghusais here in the wee hours at high speed when the driver lost control and hit a divider, the local media was quoted as saying.
