BSE suspends 42 cos from trading from Sept 11

Issuing a circular to the effect, BSE said the 42 companies have been suspended from trading on the exchange.

MUMBAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange has said trading in the securities of 42 companies, including Rathi Ispat and Jaipan Industries, will be suspended from September 11 on account of non-payment of annual listing fees by these
companies for the year 2006-07.

Issuing a circular to the effect, BSE said the 42 companies have been suspended from trading on the exchange.

However, if they make the payment of annual listing fees prior to the date of suspension and complies with all other clauses of listing agreement, such companies would be suspended for only five trading days from September 11, it added.

The suspended companies include Rathi Ispat, Jaipan Industries, Snowcem India and Core Healthcare.

If the companies make the payment of annual listing fees post the date of suspension or within 1 month of date of suspension and also complies with all other clauses of listing agreement and formalities for revocation, they would be suspended for one month, it said.

While if the companies do not make the payment of annual listing fees and also do not comply with all the clauses of the listing agreement, such companies would be suspended till such time the company complies with all the clauses of the listing agreement, it added.
