KATHMANDU: Nepal's Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala had declared his assets. 
 
Koirala owns two plots of land of three bighas in his home town Biratnagar Sub-Metropolitan City and Dainiya village. It was his share of his parents’ property.
  
As per property details submitted to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers by him, two ''bighas 12 katthas and 13 dhurs'' plot of land owned by him is used by the BP Service Centre, a charitable organisation established in memory of his elder brother and late leader B P Koirala, the first elected Prime Minister of Nepal.
 
He also has a Toyota Landcruiser that he bought duty-free, the details added.
 
The tradition of making property details public of cabinet members was started in 1992 during Koirala’s tenure as prime minister.
