Worli and Prabhadevi residents to face water cut on June 1

Residents of Worli and Prabhadevi in south-central Mumbai will have to do without water supply for a day, as the civic body is undertaking a repair work.

"The work of diversion of 57-inch diameter water main is required to be undertaken at Passport office, Dr Annie Besant Road, in `G-South' ward. Hence the water supply will be abandoned from 11 pm on May 31 to 8 pm on June 1," an official from the Hydraulic Department said.

Due to this, water supply will not be available in areas such as Dr Annie Besant Road, Khan Abdul Gafar Khan North side, Worli Koliwada, Janata Colony, B D D Chawl, Siddhartha Nagar, Prabhadevi, Adarsha Nagar and Mahakali Road.
