Prithviraj Chavan was named as the Maharashtra Congress Legislature Party leader yesterday, while Ajit Pawar was elected leader of the NCP Legislature Party.

Ten leaders of the NCP will take oath as ministers along with chief minister-designate Prithviraj Chavan in Mumbai this evening.
Deputy chief minister-designate Ajit Pawar flew in New Delhi early this morning for meetings with NCP chief Sharad Pawar on ministry formation.
Senior NCP leader Praful Patel and state NCP chief Madhukarrao Pichad were also present at the meeting.
Ten NCP leaders will take oath this evening, Patel, who is also the civil aviation minister, told reporters here.
