Even though the five-day long abstention from food has taken a toll on a few members, with a youngster fainting due to it, supporters of Anna Hazare are nevertheless determined to continue with the indefinite fast.

Around 60 people have been on indefinite fast to support the anti-graft crusader's fight against corruption.

Sources said even though 18-year-old Deependra Gupta fainted during the fast on Saturday, he is in a stable condition.

"There are 60 people, who are on indefinite fast. Then, there are over a dozen people, who fast for a day. We ask elderly people to have electral water, but they refuse saying they don't want to violate the sanctity of the fast. Doctors are constantly checking all of them," Ruben Mascarenhas, Coordinator of India Against Corruption (IAC) said.

"I have been here since the past five days and my son and daughter-in-law come here frequently to check my health. I feel if Anna can fast at this age, then why not me," 52-year-old Nanda Mandlik said.

Ramesh Kode, who suffers from slip disk, says, the atmosphere here made up for his back pain.

Bankim Mistry, a businessman, said, "I am a diabetic, but I am still fasting. Seeing the enthusiasm of the youth here, I get energised."

Doctors say the blood pressure levels have been falling and people are being made to consume adequate water.

The supporters of Hazare have planned a 'one-lakh' march tomorrow. "We have organised a rally called 'One-lakh'. We are sure these many number of supporters will gather. The rally will start from Bandra west till Juhu," Mannan Gandhi, a member of IAC said.
