According to Jat, who hails from Bobas village in Jaipur, Rajasthan, his son Ajay Kumar, 17 and an eight class-pass student, had left the house on June 13 last year, to visit a tailor’s shop, but never returned home. Jat also lodged a complaint with the police in this regard, but all his efforts were in vain.
“I was looking for Ajay since the past nine months and had lost all hopes, until I saw his photograph in a local newspaper on April 6. There were several photographs in the newspaper showing scenes of people celebrating rom various parts of the country following the victory. This particular photograph was from Mumbai,” said Jat.
He added that he has no doubt that the boy in the photograph is his son. “Ajay is fond of cricket and has a habit of biting his fingernails. Even in the photograph, he is clearly seen biting his nails,” said Jat.
Wasting no time, Jat along with the Rajasthan police, have come to the city in search of Ajay. “We are looking for the photographer who took the photograph and I am hopeful that I will be able to find Ajay soon,” said Jat, who also appeals to the citizens of Mumbai to contact him on the following numbers if they can trace his son or have any information regarding the same - 097832 29494 and 09460 10525.
