Four women drown in separate incidents in Nashik

Four women, including three girls, drowned in two separate incidents in Nashik district, police said today.

A woman and two girls who had gone to a pond to wash clothes fell into it and drowned yesterday, they said.

The deceased were identified as Usha Kadam, 30, Pratikshya Ushirm, 9, Priyanka Kadam, 10, they said.

In another incident, 20-year-old Yogita Balu had gone to fetch water from a well when she lost her balance and fell into it, police added.
