BEST ladies special on 3 more routes

The increasing demand for ‘ladies special’ bus services from commuters has prompted the BEST to increase the number of such services. After it added as many as 20 such services in mid-February, the BEST will add three more on Wednesday.

According to BEST’s chief spokesperson NA Walawalkar, the three routes are: 55, 169 and 154.

“One bus will run each morning during peak hours on all routes. On route 55, a ‘ladies special’ bus will depart for Kurne Chowk at 8.50am; on route 169, the bus will depart for Kotwal garden at 8.45am and on route 154, the bus will depart for the Nehru Planetarium at 9:05 am,” Walawalkar said.
