Alleged rape victim of MLA taken to Aurangabad for investigation

The 20-year old girl who was allegedly raped by the NCP MLA Dilip Wagh on the pretext of finding a job for her was brought to Aurangabad today by the Nashik police for investigation.

Police sources said that the victim was accompanied by API Swapnali Shinde and PI Manohar Dabhade and taken to different places.

The Nashik police visited her residence here as well as the educational institute where the victim worked as security guard. The police also interrogated the people around her residence.

It was not immediately known as to what the police were investigating and why they were taking the victim around the city.

Later, the police team returned to Nashik along with the victim.
