Actor Raja Chaudhary, who has allegedly committed several offences and was later released on bail, was served an externment notice on Tuesday ordering him to leave Mumbai city for a year.

“The procedure for the externment has started two months ago and after completing all the legal formalities, we served the notice to Chaudhary on Tuesday and asked to leave the city within two days,” said investigating officer and assistant police inspector, Prashant More of Malad police station.

“Chaudhary has time till Thursday, after which he should leave the city. If he does not obey the order, he will be immediately arrested under section 142 of the Bombay Police Act,” said More. “We have received information that Chaudhary has already left the city. We hope this externment helps reform him.”

Chaudhary, who used to stay in Malad, has allegedly committed several offences in the past few years and has been booked at Malad, Oshiwara, Santa Cruz and Juhu police stations.
On April 11, Chaudhary was arrested for allegedly obtaining a SIM card using forged documents which mentioned the address of his ‘girlfriend’ Shradha Sharma’s neighbour.

On February 7, a small-time actor and acquaintance, Vivek Mishra filed a complaint against Chaudhary under sections 342 and 355 of the IPC, for intending to dishonour a fellow actor and for wrongfully confining him in a flat.

Mishra, who was looking to rent a flat, discussed the matter with Chaudhary, who offered to show his flat to him. After reaching home, Chaudhary allegedly started taking off Mishra’s clothes. Even as Mishra protested, Chaudhary started touching him inappropriately and urinated on him. Mishra managed to escape somehow and rushed to the police station where he filed a complaint.

In the past, Chaudhary has been booked in Malad police station for verbally abusing his estranged wife and Bigg Boss winner, Shweta Tiwari, and manhandling her boyfriend Abhinav Kohli.
In November last year, the Oshiwara police had arrested the actor and his ‘girlfriend’ Sharma, after the two were booked for allegedly causing a nuisance during a fight in public.
