Thousands of students who appeared for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) this year were in for a shock after the Council of Architecture (CoA) declared the results on Monday evening, only to withdraw it citing a technical glitch.

At around 6 pm on Monday, the aspirants got a message on their registered mobile numbers asking them to check the results of the exams. As the students logged on to the official NATA website and downloaded their score cards, they got a message from the CoA asking them to 'ignore the score card uploaded earlier'. The message stated that the results of the exam would finally be out only on Wednesday, June 6.

To add to the confusion, on Tuesday, the students got another message stating that the results uploaded still hold ground. They were asked to upload their score cards on June 7. The anxious students and parents called and messaged the council frantically, but to no avail. The authorities were unable to provide any reason for the goof-up. "My daughter has downloaded the score card, but the marks are not as per her expectations. While we prepared ourselves to get another set of scores, the CoA has now said that the results hold. Is this some kind of a joke?" said Madan Patil, a parent.

Vijay Garg, Vice President, CoA, said, "There was an issue with the website. Students should wait until June 6 to get their final/ actual results," he said.
