A day after the Bombay High Court directed the university to give supplements to undergraduate and postgraduate students, the University of Mumbai came up with a fresh circular on Saturday asking colleges and exam centres to provide supplements to the students.

On Friday, the court had passed an interim order while hearing a writ petition filed by Manasi Bhushan a final year law student at GLC college opposing an circular of the varsity that barred students from asking for supplements released on October 9.

While the varsity did release a circular asking colleges to abide by the court order on Saturday, several colleges still did not issue supplements to students on Saturday morning as they had still not received the circular.

"Despite asking for a supplement the supervisor denied giving it to me. While I mentioned the recent HC order, the supervisor said that the new circular had not reached them yet" said a law student at one of the suburban colleges.
