The Jain International Organisation (JIO) organised a growth summit on Saturday at Worli to launch various initiatives such as medical schemes, e-wallet app — PowerPay —and a signature campaign to protect the architecture of Palitana Temple.

According to the Jain community members, meet-ups help to bring the members together on a single platform to fortify their unity and perform better.

Speaking about the initiative, Shree Naypadmasagarji Maharaj Saheb Swami, said, "Through different initiatives we want the community members across the country to be benefited. We hope to get approximately one lakh signature in five days for the temple, and we will submit it to the government. We mainly focus on education and medical facilities."

The e-wallet app, which was launched by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will help people avail of medical insurance plan designed in a way to provide benefits for the customers.

He added, "We have tied up with 33 public and private medical institutes in the city to provide free diagnosis and treatment to the community members."
