Heavy rainfall across Mumbai city and suburban area since Monday night continued to batter the financial capital for the fifth consecutive day, affecting normal life.
Due to heavy rains, train services on all the three suburban lines are delayed by 20 to 30 minutes.
Rail services on Central lines have been disrupted as overhead high tension wire snapped at Dadar early this morning .
Immediate restoration work is in progress to normalise the movement of trains. Several trains on Central line are stranded, while some trains are diverted on the fast track.
Trains on western line are delayed by 15 to 20 minutes, while Harbour line trains are running 30 minutes late.

Heavy rains today affected flight operations by up to 30 minutes at the city airport. "Flight operations have been delayed by 15-30 minutes and there have been five go-arounds," an airport spokesperson said.

Intermittent rain or showers would occur in the city and suburbs, heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur in some areas in the next 24 hours.
Harbour up line services from Vashi are temporarily suspended due to water logging on railway track between Tilak Nagar, Chembur, Kurla and Vashi stations.
Central down service line from CST towards Kalyan is temporarily suspended due to water logging at Sion, Kurla, Curry Road, Bhandup station.
Western line up services are operating about 20 minutes behind schedule

Many arterial roads witnessed water logging with commuters facing a tough time in areas like Lalbaugh, Hindmata, Matunga, Sion, Mahim, Kurla, Andheri, Jogeshwari, Malad, Ghatkopar, Bhandup.
