India Inc mourns former President APJ Abdul Kalam's death

India's much-loved Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam breathed his last in Shillong on Monday. Dr Kalam collapsed while delivering a lecture to students at IIM Shillong, and was declared dead at 7:45 pm due to a cardiac arrest. He was 84.

India Inc took to Twitter to express their grief and pay their tributes to the "Missile Man".

2) Anand Mahindra, Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra Group posted an Instragram post on Twitter, dedicated to the ex-president

 

At Mahindra, President Kalam's comment at the inauguration of our Chennai Research valley is part of our folklore. As he walked around,he saw the tall hill at the property boundary. He abruptly stopped & asked me:"Is that hill part of your property? I said no and he paused for a long time & said: "Take it..Take the Hill" I was confused,but he just repeated himself and moved on. When I reflected on it, I believed his words were not literal,but symbolic. Advice to always look higher & beyond your original ideas. And so today our credo at Mahindra Research Valley is, always, to "Take the Hill." Thank you good Doctor. R.I.P
