God has plans for all of us: Divya Palat

I am a strong believer in God. I am spiritually inclined and strongly believe in a higher life force guiding us, teaching us, holding us and celebrating life with us.  As long as he’s in your prayers and you think of him, (for more than favours and requests) - you think of him to thank him and are grateful- then you are spiritual.

My parents are very spiritual and my mother encouraged me to look at a temple as more than a house of worship, our temple is like a home for me. I believe it’s not the quantity of time you give but the quality of time you invest in prayer/thought/meditation.

My biggest realisation happened when ‘I’ stopped becoming important. I realised that when I won/ achieved, it’s only because God helped me and that when I lost and cried, that he was crying a heck of a lot more than me. You sometimes ignore the signs, but if you look back—all the changes in your life happened for a reason and though you couldn’t see it then-you’d never be the person you are today, if it wasn’t for all those paths  you had to make. So instead of worrying when you get a choice—take a step back and look for signs. What are you supposed to do? And who are you supposed to be? It’s not all going to be revealed to you today but you’ll know soon enough as long as you follow the signs. God has a plan for all of us and he’s taking us through our lives holding our hands. We just have to trust him.
