After the matter came to light on Monday and a case was registered, Ajeetgarh police of Sikar district initiated a search for the duo - school director Jagdish Yadav and teacher Jagat Singh - following which the duo were arrested late in the night by the police.
However, early on Tuesday morning hundreds of villagers assembled outside the school and raised slogans while holding an agitation. The villagers even forcefully shut the school and declared holiday for the students. As the information about the agitation reached the cops, a team from Ajeetgarh police station reached the spot and pacified the agitators. Meanwhile, district collector Naresh Kumar Thakral sent the district education officer to the school and demanded a report on the matter by Tuesday evening for taking final action regarding the school registration. Moreover chairperson of state women commission Suman Sharma even met the victim girl and her family at Sawai Man Singh hospital. Notably a teenager girl was gang raped over a period of time by her school director and a teacher from the school.
