Youth threatened at gunpoint

A 24-year-old man from Shahibaug was threatened at gunpoint by one Samir alias Buria and two others on Tuesday night near Vasna.

According to sources, Kapadia’s friend Samrat Patel lost a bet of Rs1 lakh that he had placed with Samir on a cricket match.

Samir had asked Patel to give the money but the later escaped to the US.  Samir then asked Ronak, who was a guarantor for Patel, to return the money. But Ronak refused to pay up instead of Patel. That is when Samir threatened Ronak with a gun.
