Vastrapur woman ends life

A woman committed suicide in Vastrapur on Tuesday morning as she was suffering from depression. She took the extreme step after her ailing son died a few months back.

According to Vastrapur police, Sunita Govind Gaud, 35, residing in Goyal Intercity, committed suicide by hanging from a railing near a room on the terrace of the building.

Gaud, originally from Rajasthan, was living in flat A-83 in Goyal Intercity for the past 10 years with her family. Her husband Govind, who works as an engineer with L&T, shifted to the company’s Dubai office two years back.
