Unable to locate Karan Jadeja through mediators and Rajkot police, officials of the Vastrapur police have landed in Rajkot to nab Karan, the younger son of ‘Godmother’ Santokben Jadeja.

According to the police, Karan Jadeja, gave a fake identity to them after his arrest on April 23. He was caught consuming liquor with friend Vishal Chandarana at Hotel Eden on SG Highway.
Karan had identified himself as Kamal Patel, and claimed his residence to be Guru Darshan flats on Kalawad road in Rajkot.

The police had accepted his claims as he was not carrying any ID proof at the time of arrest. Later, some officials saw his photo and ascertained his real identity.

The Vastrapur cops had then contacted Malaviyanagar police station in Rajkot to check Karan’s whereabouts. However, the Rajkot police found Jadeja’s residence was locked.

It was also learned from the officials there that Karan had expressed willingness to appear voluntarily at the police station through a mediator. However, the mediator too backed out, stating he can’t do much with Jadeja’s mobile phone switched off since Sunday.

Hence, taking the matter up, some Vastrapur cops including PSI Naimkhan, left for Rajkot on Monday morning to locate and arrest Jadeja.
