UNLF chairman Rajkumar Meghen arrested in Bihar

Chairman of the banned Manipuri militant group, United National Liberation Front Rajkumar Meghen, was arrested yesterday in Motihari town by a three-member team of the National Investigation Agency.

The chairman of the banned Manipuri militant group, United National Liberation Front (UNLF), Rajkumar Meghen has been arrested from Bihar's East Champaran district.

Meghen was arrested yesterday in Motihari town by a three-member team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) which was assisted by local police, sources said.

Meghen was planning to cross over to Nepal, they said.

He was produced before the court of chief judicial magistrate, Motihari and is being brought to Delhi on a transit remand.
