Firozabad: A woman and her brother were injured today in clashes at a polling booth during the bypoll to Firozabad parliamentary seat, official sources said here.

Urmila Devi and her brother Sumit were injured when two parties clashed with each other and exchanged fire allegedly over a dispute related to polling at Pratapur poll booth this afternoon, they said.

Police said the injured were admitted to district hospital. Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Singh Yadav, who won both from Kanuaj and Firozabad in the Lok Sabha elections in May, had vacated the Firozabad seat, leading to the bypoll.
