Bihar minister of state for mines, Ramchandra Sahni has announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs1 lakh to the family members of those killed in the fire.

Two children were burnt alive in a devastating fire that broke out at Chailahatal village of Bihar's East Champaran district today, police said.
Sabina Khatoon (5) and Kamre Alam (eight months) were burnt alive in the fire, station house officer (SHO) of Barjania police station, MP Pandey said.
The fire, also gutted property worth several lakhs of rupees, which was controlled by fire tenders.
