Two arrested for BPO employee's murder in Delhi

Two criminals were today arrested in connection with the robbery and murder of a BPO employee, police said.

The arrested has been identified as Monu Singh and Sunil Kumar, they said, adding that both are residents of Ghaziabad.

On interrogation, the duo revealed that on November 4 they robbed BPO employee Vishwajit Verma who had boarded a cab near Vijay Nagar.

The arrested, who were were sitting in the car, posed as passengers in the cab, police said.

When Verma resisted the two strangulated him to death and dumped the body in Bambheta area, they said.

The body was later recovered by Ghaziabad Police and cremated as unclaimed.
