Teen bludgeons man to death in Ahmedabad

In a tragic incident, a 32-year-old man was allegedly killed by an 18-year-old following a trivial argument on Friday morning. The accused, said to be a short-tempered teen, allegedly hit the man on the head with a stone. The victim died on the spot.

According to police, they where informed of a body found near Beronet Complex in Kailashnagar, few meters away from the Sabarmati police station.

The dead man was later identified as Ramesh Thakore, a resident of Kailashnagar Bhilvas in Sabarmati. A complaint was registered by one Bhaiyaji Thakore who accused one Vickey 'Shivo' Kadia, of killing Ramesh.

Vickey resides in the same neighbourhood. Thakore stated in the FIR that Vickey had some personal grudge against Ramesh and killed him. The accused teenager was later arrested by the Sabarmati police and interrogated.

Police inspector RH Chaudhary of Sabarmati police station said that the reason for the enmity between the two is not known.
