Speed Post delivery of driving licence in 23 Gujurat districts soon

Driving licence and registration books would be delivered to the vehicle owners via Speed Post in the 23 remaining districts in Gujarat soon, state's transport commissioner J P Gupta said today.
    
Gupta said Gujarat government had initially selected Ahmedabad, Surat and Rajkot for the issuance of driving licenses and RC (registration Books) through Speed Post to ensure that the vehicle documents reached the bonafide owners on time.
    
Now the remaining 23 districts will also be covered under the scheme.
    
Gupta said, "The new services will ensure transparency in the issuance of driving licenses and RC books to the vehicle owners. It will also save the time for the vehicle owners as they will get their vehicle documents within the stipulated time at their doorstep."
