SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said efforts were made to influence the voters in all the constituencies where polling was held today and the party has lodged a written complaint with the Election Commission in this regard.

"Alarmed at the support that was shown by the electorate in Firozabad Lok Sabha seat, the ruling party (BSP) leaders made all out efforts to intimidate voters and also threatened SP workers," he said.

Alleging that the ruling partymen had indulged in booth capturing in Isauli, Rari, Puvaya, Bharthana, Etawah and Haiser Bazar, Chaudhary said that the SP has demanded re-polling on certain booths in Isauli and Rari constituencies.
