The scorching sun made the day tough for people who had gathered at the Ramlila Maidan to witness Anna Hazare breaking his fast with 15 of them being admitted to hospital after they complained of uneasiness.

From the morning, the sun shone brightly but this did not deter people from reaching the Maidan in the centre of the national capital as it was jam-packed.

As Anna Hazare started speaking after ending his fast, people pushed each other to come near the podium to have a glimpse of the Gandhian, making it difficult for media personnel and others to stand.

Many people fell unconcious and some complained of uneasiness to volunteers who took them to the medical camp inside the ground.

Though water and lemonade were being distributed there they were not of much help to many people.

Dr Kamal, who has been camping at the Maidan since April 19, said 13 people, who complained of dehydration, were given first aid at the camp here and referred to LNJP Hospital.

He said most of the complaints were those of dehydration and the reason could be heat.
