Rs47 crore allocated for Sukhad Sahara Yojana in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh government has declared allocation of Rs47 crore under the `Sukhad Sahara Yojana'
this fiscal.
     
Of the sum, Rs25 crore are meant for rural areas. The scheme was launched for the benefit of widows and abandoned women between the ages of 18 to 50.
     
Under it, eligible woman receives a pension of Rs200 every month. The scheme benefits around 19,000 women, official sources said.
