BJP leader Rajnath Singh today met the two Taiwanese nationals injured in the Jama Masjid firing incident at the LNJP hospital here and enquired about their health.

"I met Zeseweiu and Chiang and enquired about their health. I wished the gentlemen quick recovery. I also met the doctors concerned, who told me they were both out of danger", Singh said after his visit to the hospital.

He said the government should take all political parties into confidence and chalk out a strategy to tackle terrorism.

"Also, security should be tightened as the Commonwealth Games is just days away," the former BJP president said.

The Indian Mujahideen had claimed responsibility for yesterday's attack and threatened terror strikes during the Games, saying the firing incident was to coincide with the second anniversary of the Batla House encounter.

Security was stepped up in the city following the incident and armed policemen and paramilitary personnel were deployed to keep a strict vigil.
