Now, dummy ballot sheet in Braille

The chief electoral officer from Election Commission of India has directed the department of commissionerate for persons with disabilities of gujarat state, to prepare the dummy ballot sheet in Braille to help visually challenged voters cast their votes in elections. The task was assigned to the Blind Peoples' Association, Ahmedabad.

According to the annual report of Commissionerate for Persons with Disabilities, 2009-10, the assistant commissioner of the department was appointed as the nodal officer for the task of making dummy ballet sheet in Braille.

The entire task was accomplished under the various supervisions of assistant commissioner and the commissioner of the office.
