Narendra Modi pins hopes on BRTS and Kankaria

Chief Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the voters of Dariapur ward told that the BRTS is one of the most important successes of the ruling party in the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Addressing a huge crowd, Modi said that BJP with the BRTS has transformed the face of public transportation.

He also said that Kankaria, which was earlier home to many anti-social elements is now a safe picnic spot for the middle-class, and this could be achieved due to the efforts of the BJP in the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC).

During his speech, he also made a mention of the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter as well as the chaos before the Common Wealth Games began.

Modi addressed the voters of the area at around 6 in the evening. Several other BJP leaders were also present during the speech. Modi, who spoke for around 20 minutes, also ridiculed the Congress and some of the allegations made by the party against the state government.
