Missing boys traced to Salem

Four boys, who were reported missing since last Monday, were traced to Salem midnight last night, police said.

The boys, studying in 8th and 9th standard, did not return home and relatives and police had launched a search for them.

Meanwhile, the parents of one of the boys, received a telephone call stating that they had sold their bicycles and gone to Chennai, out of fear about their examination results and while returning they were stranded in Salem, police said.
  
On information, police at Salem spotted and handed them over to their parents early today.
