Minor girl gang-raped in Dehra Dun

A minor girl was allegedly gang-raped at Kichchha area of Udhamsingh Nagar district, police said today.

According to a complaint filed by the mother of 14-year-old victim yesterday, seven persons allegedly raped her daughter at gunpoint on the night of April 4 when she was alone in her house. The accused also threatened her of dire consequence if she disclosed the matter to anyone.

After registering a case against seven persons, all aged between 18-45, police has launched a manhunt to nab the accused, who are absconding ever since the incident came to light.

Police has also sent the girl for medical examination.
