Mauled body of pilgrim recovered at Vaishnodevi

A mauled body of a pilgrim was today recovered from a gorge, enroute to Vaishnodevi shrine, nearly 50-kms from here, police said.

The body was discovered by sweepers this morning while cleaning the tracks at Adhkuwari.
    
The body was possibly eaten by some wild animals, they added.
    
The body is beyond recognition and a team of forensic experts has been called in to conduct post-mortem, they said.
