Madhya Pradesh college professor thrashed by ABVP workers

A professor at the Government Agriculture College in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh was thrashed by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) workers for his alleged indecent way of talking to girl students, and for having illicit relations with a girl staying at college hostel, today.

The ABVP workers, including girls, allegedly beat up assistant professor Ajay Choudhry and blackened his face.

College dean, PP Shastri, told Press Trust of India that those who thrashed the professor were not from his college. Matter will be reported to police, he said.

The city superintendent of Police, Mukesh Vaishya, told reporters that no complaint has been received so far from anyone in this regard.
