Maoist leader Kishenji's laptop, which was seized along with his diary and cell phone in a raid recently, has pictures of the banned group, the state police chief said today.

"A lot of interesting things have been found in the laptop of Kishenji. Some information has been retrieved and some remains locked as yet. We are trying to open it," DGP Bhupinder Singh said.

The elusive naxal leader's laptop, diary, mobile phone and SIM card were seized in a raid at a place between Dumurkota and Hatiashole villages in the 'Jangal Mahal' area recently.

"There are video-clippings in the laptop showing pictures of the organisation, personal photos and some details," Singh said, but refused to elaborate.

He said the seized diary had a copy of Kolkata Police permission to an NGO for holding a meeting at city's Metro channel, indicating the NGO's connection with him.

"The diary contains the organisation's accounts and phone numbers, including that of some journalists," he said.

The laptop contained Kishenji's Bengali write-ups using English script. "All these indicate that the laptop belonged to Kishenji," the police chief said.

Asked about the reported escape of Kishenji from police dragnet, the officer said, "It appears that he is still in Lalgarh area".
