Kashmiri pandits reject surrender policy

Kashmir pandits today slammed the Centre and Jammu and Kashmir government for giving "legal cover" to infiltration of armed terrorists into the state by mooting a surrender policy for PoK-based militants and said it would only boost militancy.

"We reject the surrender policy mooted by Omar Abdullah government and vetted by Central government. It is a blunder
that they are embarking upon," All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASPKC) general secretary HL Chatta and All Party
Migrant Coordination Committee (APMCC) chairman, Vinood Pandit told reporters here.

Kashmiri youths who crossed into Pakistan, got training in handling weapons and explosives and directed their violent actions against India will now be given a red carpet welcome
in Jammu and Kashmir, they said.
