RJD today received a shot in the arm with the Bihar JD(U) General Secretary Reyazul Haque Raju and its Kisan cell chief Amresh Rai along with several other party leaders today joining it.
Raju, an influential minority face in Gopalganj, Rai and others switched over to the RJD in presence of its supremo Lalu Prasad.
Welcoming them into the party fold, Prasad said an exodus of leaders from ruling JD(U) and its ally--BJP had begun after chief minister Nitish Kumar surrendered to the RSS after raising objections to his photograph with Gujarata Chief Minister, Narendra Modi.
"We suitably reward those joining the RJD from the two ruling parties," he said.
